Japanese Proverb:

mochiwamochiya

Translation: For mochi [rice cakes], go to the mochi shop.

Meaning: use specialists for specialist things/tasks.

Reading: “mochi wa mochiya”

Note on usage: very often used to remind someone of the need for using tradesmen for specific tasks that require a high degree of knowledge, experience, and skill (such as making high-quality rice cakes!) – often used to somewhat-politely warn someone against attempting to undertake a task that they would be better off using a specialist for.
